mlm VoIP and wireless rep sales.

A fair and balanced critique of mlm and why it might not be the best choice for a home based voip or wireless sales business.

[part one | part two | part three]

You might wonder if mlm organizations are worth considering at all, given that it's not the best way to consider for a VoIP sales home based business.  So, as part of a balanced approach let's continue and discuss who might be a candidate for mlm voip.  The products (VoIP and wireless phone services) are excellent products to sell with an exceptional value and a large clientele and those people that do succeed through a network or mlm approach are motivators and good presenters.  They usually are comfortable building confidence in others and like to lead a group.  And that is because the money that is to be made, is not from the product sales as much as from getting new recruits.  There is a large social aspect to mlm with group meetings, entertainment gala presentations and recognition events.  People who enjoy these types of opportunities will like that part of most mlms.

  • Those that do well will have strengths in building an organization of people and the products that are sold will be less important.

  • Social events, camaraderie, and being part of a group will play a big part of the benefits of mlm, something not everyone may desire.

To make a good business, what ever the product, a new media conscious is underway and it could be possible for a savvy marketer to gain product sales accounts, as well as new recruits form leveraging these media sources.  Today you'll likely find that, along with time tested ways to market, you will use multiple marketing avenues like video marketing, and social media to drive visitors of targeted leads to your own website(s).  New social networks, like Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, etc., can play a big part of any new business and play right in to the "network" marketing principal.  SEO techniques are now part of any new businesses toolkit and must be given credence for any chance at success.

  • Without an individually owned website(s) presence and an individually owned business the rep will be hostage to the companies direction.

  • With new social networking technologies, those that can leverage and integrate these medias will have an advantage.

  • Nothing is forever, especially a revenue stream that is tied to the fortunes of another company.

One thing that mlm groups offer like Lightyear Alliance is guidence and a quick start, but you should understand how to make your business last for you.Unfortunately, too many times a recruit joins and has intentions to set the world on fire.  They do everything that the mlm organization suggests; they recruit others, they attend meetings, and they learn the spiel, only to come to a realization that the rewards are going to far less than what was touted.  That they bought-in on a unrealistic endeavor.  Or the company, with all its good intentions, fails, or their personnel financial demands trump their income and they abandon the avocation.  In many cases, people in these predicaments find they are left with a bad taste in their mouth, and rightfully so, as they were misled to believe in, shall we say, an overtly optimistic view of how much they could make and "how all you have to do is" or "get three and they get three".

  • Do your homework and understand the dynamics.  Creating a successful business is hard work.

  • Don't totally rely on associations for your success, remember those associations have their own businesses to mange and are likely to change at some time.

So, are there any voip mlms that make sense?

Well, that totally depends on what is it that you are looking for.  If its selling voip or wireless cell services and making your own business, then look at what we have covered and make the decision based on good information from as many resources as possible.  And then there are the companies who market VoIP or wireless cell services at a slightly different angle.  One might be "Sign up three, and yours is free." and if that's what you are looking for and it makes sense it should work.  Another is about a new technology that allows calls to be routed via your ATA and you share in this revenue.  Do your homework as that sounds overly optimistic, at the very least, but more like science fantasy from people who are anything but scientists or engineers.  If there are cutting edge technologies, then you should be able to read about it and be able to grasp it.  If no one knows what someone is talking about, their not making clear sense.  There are no free lunches, but through hard work, research, and knowledge you can make a business that will allow you to buy your own lunch.

In conclusion.

If you are looking for a home based business selling VoIP services or wireless cell phone services realize it takes time and hard work, product knowledge and fortitude.
